The Original Depot?

Burlington Northern sold the Arlington depot to a private party in 1983 and the depot was moved to private property north of town. A metal roof was installed to protect the structure from additional deterioration. These photos were taken in August 2007.

The Seattle, Lake Shore & Eastern Railroad built the original depot in 1890. Northern Pacific Railroad, which eventually took full control of the SLS&E in 1901, had blueprints drawn up in 1910 which show plans to either renovate or rebuild the depot at that time.
